Order Cancellations, Returns, Exchanges, & Refunds Policy

Cancellations on Our Part

We truly hate cancellations, and we try always to exercise due diligence in carrying through to fulfill any order a customer places with us. However, there is that rare occasion when a supplier runs out of a popular item, or we find it necessary to cut off a relationship with an unreliable supplier, and in either of those instances, we may have no other choice but to cancel your order. If that ever happens, we will contact you as quickly as possible to notify you of the order cancellation and, of course, we will offer you either a full refund or an exchange for another item at the same price point, according to your preference.

Customer Order Cancellations

Because our fulfillment process is as speedy as we can make it, we allow cancellations ONLY within the first 24 hours after an order has been placed. After 24 hours cancellations are not possible. If you would like to cancel your order, contact us immediately within 24 hours of placing your order..

Returns

To return your item*, it must be unused and put back in the original packaging. Mail it to RETURNS, Gravel, PO Box 220, Cecilia, KY 42724. The shipping cost to return your item for your FIRST return will be reimbursed to you by a check mailed to you or by a store credit--depending on which you would prefer. Because we offer free shipping, additional returns are not reimbursed with regard to shipping. 

Please note, a returned item MUST be received by us to offer an exchange or refund. 

No returns are accepted or reimbursed 70 days beyond the date of the order.

Exchanges

We only replace items or provide refunds if they are defective or damaged and returned to us in the original package. Of course, since one must open the package to examine an item, the original package doesn't need to be sealed; however, if sending an item back in an unsealed package, please be sure to put that package in another package capable of protecting the returned merchandise.

To exchange a defective/damaged product for the same item, send us an email notifying us that you intend to return the item and mail the item to the address mentioned above with a note that includes your order number, the date you ordered, a copy of your receipt/invoice, and an explanation of why you are sending the item. Please note, as Gravel posts size charts in nearly every item description, we generally do not offer returns or refunds for size, so CHECK SIZE CHARTS CAREFULLY before placing your order.

If, after examining the item and its packaging, we determine your item eligible for replacement, we will send you an email notifying you we are sending out a new item or will take steps to issue a refund.

Because shipping is free for most items in our collection, Gravel generally does not reimburse shipping on returns. Depending on where you live and product availability to us, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary. If we cannot source an identical product, we may offer you a similar substitute or a refund of the item cost.

Insurance of Your Return
If shipping an item for evaluation for refund/exchange, especially if its value is over $50, please consider using shipping tracking as well as purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee we will receive an item you have intended to submit for exchange/refund, and no refund or credit will be given if a returned item is not received by our returns department.

*Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned, nor intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases or items containing these (i.e. a specialty lighter). Gift cards or health/personal items are also non-returnable.
